    What is your suggestion?
I suggest that 1-2 second delays for each message are set in chat to prevent spam and people purposely typing every word in a different message for repeat spam offenders or permanently for certain servers

Why do we need this? or What made you post this suggestion?
We need this because a lot of people have made the chat a place to spam different overdramatic sentences for effect when really it just clogs up chat. Not to mention I cant just /ignore everyone since it'd take ages. and you can't even use /ignore in minigames warzones.

What are the possible negative aspects of your suggestion?
The bad thing about this suggestion is possible grammar/spelling errors may go uncorrected for an extra second

What are the positive aspects of your suggestion?
The good thing about this suggestion is chat no longer will be full of the same people commenting what can be said in one message, in 10

How can this suggestion be achieved on the server?
This can be done by, i'm not sure

I don't think that will stop ppl from spamming one word close text.
Guests used to have a chat cooldown before it was removed and it was most annoying, specially when you had to asked them stuff or needed more information

im suggesting it more as a penalty for people who are known to spam chat, its hard to be good at pvp or focus on a public chat conversation when people are spamming AHHHH every other message, its not the guests who are the problem in the cases I've come across

Use /ignore, spammers r muted when caught, that’s their punishment. You can use /ignore, ur just lazy. In minigames it’s not hard to simply /leave and /ignore then join, if ur worried about the team ur on, boo hoo and camp /teams to see which team u will be on based on the amount of players. -1

That's a terrible idea especially when you're trying to have a conversation and you can't send another message for a whole second. It slows it right down and would make it really hard to communicate and not make people feel like they're being ignored. Also, there is a spam filter for a reason and if someone is spamming outside of that then feel free to make a /report so that they get muted.

I see your point, but I do not think this suggestion will help the server in a more effective way.

-1 lets say if you need help for pvp or such, you're gonna try to type fast but probably spell wrong and people might not understand u, then you'll have to type fast again to spell it correctly

-1 but what if this rule only applied to those who were recently muted for spam so the entire server isnt affected by it

That is what /report and/or ignore is there for. If someone just got off a mute for spamming, they would get a longer mute if they continue
