Bending I guess it's time to nerf FlameRush

    What is your suggestion?
    I suggest that FlameRush is changed from:
    Damage: 4
    Cooldown: 10000
    Range: 40
    Speed: 1.3
    CreateFlames: true
    to:
    Damage: 4
    Cooldown: 14000
    Range: 35
    Speed: 1.2
    CreateFlames: False


    Why do we need this? or What made you post this suggestion?
    We need this because the combo is straight up just too good. The speed, range, damage and hitbox combined with the fact it deals additional damage and denies area with the flames is just too much for one move, especially a 10CD one.

    What are the possible negative aspects of your suggestion?
    The bad thing about this suggestion is:
    -Firebenders will be really pissed because a lot of them rely really hard on the move, especially spamming it.
    -Fire's general power level will go down slightly.

    What are the positive aspects of your suggestion?
    The good thing about this suggestion is:
    -People will stop whining about the move being cheap and blatantly OP.
    -Fighting fire will be more fun for the opponent.

    How can this suggestions be achieved on the server?
    This can be done by changing the config like I specified above.

    I would put the damage to 3 since it does 2 hearts, i feel that 1.5 dmg would be better, but with everything else I agree

    You might be right, but I also think that with decreased range, speed, increased cd and the ground fire disabled I think the damage could stay. It's hard for me to decide here tbf.

    Right now it does 2 hearts, and if you can use it well enough the fire tick can get you to lose 3-5 hearts. I'm fine with the ground fire being disabled, and that you think the damage should be the same, but 1.5 dmg would be better with the other changes active

    imo it's not about the damage, it's about how fucking curvy it is and it's massive hitbox
    make it less curvy and reduce the hitbox and it'll be easier to dodge and stuff. I like the fire it can make

    The fire is a cool albeit obnoxious effect that really screws over some elements more than others. Making it not as curvy I feel would reduce the skill involved in using it (not that there is any currently with that mountain sized hitbox). But if the hitbox was smaller that would be nice.

    What about the damage? Some people still complain about the damage and I think that it's getting a bit too annoying, especially the firetick.

    I mentioned a bit about the fire tick when I said that it screws some elements over more than others. for elements like water or air the fire tick is almost nonexistent.
    I believe it does 2 hearts if i'm not mistaken without fire tick, I don't want to move out of my lane here and over-suggest since fire is my least used element - though i'm pretty sure the damage isn't the main problem when you have moves like fireblade which do 2.5-3 hearts as a non-combo move. This one in particular is just complained about because of how ridiculously easy it is to land for how impactful it is.

    As a general rule of thumb though, if I see experienced 'mains' of an element not using a move because the strength makes it less fun for them, I think it's at least worth talking about.

    actually i used to not use flamerush while fighting because it was just too op. or i would only use it once in a fight

    ok yeah can we just reduce the hitbox and make the damagae 1.5 but keep the curve and fire

    +1 Damage and hitbox are hefty. For a combo that is surprisingly easy to land in most circumstances, it wouldn't hurt to see a little bit of change. In my opinion, decreasing the speed would not do too much in nerfing FlameRush since it would only make it slower and easier to curve.
