    What is your suggestion?
Since on skygrid you are now able to use a silk touch pickaxe to mine spawners, I have many spawners but most of them are not the type I need. I would have to change all the spawners that I gathered in the grid to what I need. Since the time limit for using /spawner [mob] to change a spawner, it takes a lot of time just changing all of them. But with this I won't need to wait 10 minutes to change 10 spawners.

Why do we need this? or What made you post this suggestion?
We need this because like I said, some people need to change large amounts of spawners to what they actually need, and this takes time to do so.

What are the possible negative aspects of your suggestion?
No negative aspects to this that I could imagine.

What are the positive aspects of your suggestion?
Players now would not have to wait to change spawners that they find and gather in the grid.

How can this suggestions be achieved on the server?
By removing the time limit to when you change use /spawner [mob] to change a spawner.

I agree. I also have many spawners and sitting having to wait for 1 minute seems rather pointless? And the only negative affect i could see is possible lag if it causes any. If it even does it would only be for like a second or 2 seconds of lag

It's fine how it is, because everytime you change the spawn it resets the spawner timing also and the mobs spawn instantly, so you could just keep changing it back and forth and practically have unlimited mobs spawning.

1 Minute isn't even that bad.. Could be worse

Didn't think about the unlimited mobs.... Although I don't believe anyone will do that because the purpose of changing spawners is to afk them not sit there and continuously change them

Only thing I could suggest is one of two ways.

Either you use /spawner <type> and all spawners in your inv change to that type or the other thing is, you use the command but any connected spawners touching the one you used the command on change also.

However it still requires coding, and as I already said, one minute isn't even that bad.

I think rather than a removal, a reduction would be better appreciated while still not unbalanced.
From what I can tell, the main reason for the long cooldown Ive seen is to prevent people spamming the command to make huge amounts of mobs. A difficult fix (coz coding) would be making the timers affect the block and making it say 5 minutes, but an easier idea would be to reduce the cooldown to slightly more than the time it takes for mobs to respawn. That way it stays less effective to keep changing the spawner to increase mobs, while meaning it doesn't take me 30 minutes to change one set of spawners for someone else.
